Arisaema taiwanense is an easily grown and highly attractive species from mountainous regions of Taiwan. Closely related to familiar species such as Arisaema consanguineum, it has a radial leaf that is divided into numerous leaflets and an impressive brownish inflorescence held below the foliage.
This is a variable species and the leaves can vary in colour from a deep lush green to a superb silver. These seeds are hand pollinated from one of the best pure silver forms. Arisaema taiwanense is cold hardy, but do avoid excessive winter wet which can lead to the tubers rotting.
