Dicksonia antarctica
£10.00
Price per 1x plant of Dicksonia antarctica. UK grown and well established in a 2 litre pot.
Dicksonia antarctica, the Soft Tree Fern, is the best known and hardiest of all the tree ferns for the British climate. It has deservedly become a hugely popular and widely grown plant.
All tree ferns are slow growing and Dicksonia antarctica is no exception. These plants are young UK plants, produced in the UK, that are not yet forming a trunk. However, we have found that growth can be faster than is commonly anticipated. The trick is to plant in a good quality soil in a warm but shaded position, and water profusely. It seems impossibel to give these too much water! Also, occasional doses of a diluted liquid feed is recommended from time to time.
Top quality and vigorous young plants – why not give one a go?!
