Description
A most unusual and rarely seen Dryopteris species with semi-evergreen and leathery fronds, almost resembling a species of Pteris.
With an ultimate height of around 50-60cm, and each frond reaching around 40cm long and 25cm wide, this is an eye-catching fern and an excellent contrast plant. Suitable for any sheltered and lightly shaded site. A moist soil is beneficial, especially when young, but ultimately Dryopteris sieboldii can take relatively dry conditions once established.
Supplied as young plants established in 7cm pots.
