Description
Eryngium pandanifolium makes impressive rosettes of serrated strap-like leaves, topped with a sturdy flower spike with small white flowers.
The rosettes can easily reach 75cm in diameter, and the whole plant can reach impressive proportions.
For any warm, sunny position in the garden. Eryngium pandanifolium has been reliably hardy for us here in Devon and has taken -7 with no problem. More rarely seen than the broadly similar Eryngium agavifolium, this has narrower leaves but can reach a potentially larger size.
