Description
Pinellia ternata is a cute little aroid, reaching only 20cm – 25cm or so, and making naturally small tubers. In addition, small bulbils are produced on the petioles and the centre of the leaves – these are capable of establishing colonies of this attractive plant and can be a useful method of propagation.
We sell both flowering sized tubers and packs of leaf bulbils. The bulbils can be treated as if they are seeds and sown at twice their depth.
Pinellia ternata produces trifoliate leaves and a beautiful spathe typical of Pinellia.
We are offering the green spathed form of Pinellia ternata.
