1x seed pack of Puya chilensis (10 seeds).
From dry hillsides in Chile comes this wonderful, albeit rather vicious, terrestrial bromeliad species. Making large rosettes of sharply spined strap shaped leaves, this is an impressive plant. Rather slow growing, however, it does not take too long to make a nice sized plant from seed, and the seeds are easy to germinate.
A rewarding and unusual plant. Surface sow the seeds and onto moist compost. Keep damp with gentle bottom heat. Seeds are easy but can be erratic to germinate.
