Arisaema fargesii Seeds
1x seed packed containing 10x Arisaema fargesii seeds.
Arisaema fargesii is an unfussy and vigorous species. The flattish pinky brown tubers multiply easily through small offsets.
The spathe is strongly hooded and striped brown and white, with the spadix hidden deep inside. Eventually, Arisaema fargesii can reach large proportions. The leaf will be 'tear shaped' (hastate) in young plants. As the tuber increases in size, this leaf becomes trifoliate.
Arum maculatum Seeds

Our native UK Arum. Seeds have been collected from a mixture of plants, some showing strong black markings on the both the leaf and / or the spathe. Some will have a purple spadix, others a yellow spadix.
Arum maculatum will be familiar to many as an attractive hedgerow plant. A highly variable species, a number of colour forms exist. Potentially a spreader in the garden, this is not a recommended plant for a neat and formal border, but makes a wonderful addition to a woodland or wild garden.
Please note that seeds germinate easily, but do not show a leaf for until their second year.
Eucomis comosa Seeds

Eucomis is a genus of bulbous plants from South Africa. Their common name 'Pineapple Lily' refers to the tuft of leaves held on top of the flower spike, giving the appearance of a pineapple top. Eucomis comosa is one of the easiest species. It is also one of the larger Eucomis and can make quite a statement in a herbaceous border.
Glossy strap-shaped leaves emerge in late spring, followed by their remarkable flower.
These seeds are our own Eucomis comosa hybrids - parent plants have a mixture of green or deep maroon foliage, with many shades of flower colour. Some of the resultng seedlings will no doubt be quite unusual.
Scilla latifolia Seeds

A stunningly beautiful species, Scilla latifolia stopped me in my tracks when I first encountered it whilst walking in the mountains of La Gomera. I have been searching for seeds ever since, and am therefore very pleased to have found a source of cultivated seeds and to offer them here for the first time.
Found in the Canary Islands and Morocco, this makes a stout rosette of lush leaves topped with a large flower spike of intense purple / blue flowers. With a long flowering season, the flowers are a real show-stopper.
Cultivation is easy, but frost free conditions are needed. Sow the seeds in regular seed compost and keep at around 20 degrees.
