Description
Aspidistra sp. nova ‘Pha-hom Pok-adot’ BSWJ6645 growing in a deep ‘long tom’ 9cm pot.
An unknown Aspidistra, collected and introduced into cultivation by Bledwyn and Sue Wynn Jones of Crug Farm. Found growing in Thailand on the mountain of Doi Pha-Hom Pok (hence the name of the plant) at 2250m. It has not been fully tested outdoors, but should be as hardy as most Aspidistra.
For a shaded spot, perhaps best in a container. Water freely during the warmer months and keep drier during the winter.
